    Description

The Titleist 917D3 driver features technology that maximizes distance, forgiveness, and precise customization for every player. The driver’s SureFit CG allows the center of gravity of the club head to be adjusted from heel to toe with interchangeable weights. With these weights, spin and launch conditions can be dialed in for the ultimate customization. The Active Recoil Channel 2.0 has been improved to flex more at impact in order to reduce spin and increase ball speed. Additionally, the driver features the Radial Speed Face 2.0, which gives off-center shots greater distance. The workable 917D3 has a 440cc traditional pear profile and delivers a slightly lower launch angle and spin rate than the 460cc 917D2 Driver.

    Condition Description

Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: Normal ball marks and scratching on the face; normal scratching on the sole; minor dings and nicks on the crown and/or around the edges of the head; very light scratches, paint chips, paint blemishes on or around the crown.

    Technology / Specs

The Titleist 917D3 driver has an updated version of its Active Recoil Channel (ARC). An ARC is a wide, deep channel on the sole of the club that flexes at impact, creating ball speed and distance. The ARC 2.0 is thinner on the heel and toe regions compared to the previous model. This gives more ball speed across the face of the driver.

In tune with the ARC 2.0 is the Radial Speed Face 2.0. It is thinner on the perimeter of the club face to increase ball speed and distance on off-center hits.

For the first time, Titleist put a SureFit CG weight system on the sole of the 917D3 driver. The unique system allows adjustments to be made affecting shot shaping and spin control. The weight adjusts for a draw, fade, and high or low ball flight.

Finally, the 917D3 driver is slightly smaller (440cc) than the 917D2 and has a traditional pear-shaped head.

Below are the stock options for the 917 drivers. To learn more about how to adjust the SureFit hosel, please head HERE.
