    Description

The Titleist 718 AP1 irons provide maximum distance, maximum forgiveness and proven performance for every player. The irons features a thin, fast, unsupported face to generate more ball speed as well as undercut cavity mid and short irons and hollow-body long irons to maximize carry distance for every shot and produce more consistent gapping throughout the set. An improved leading edge creates more efficient turf interaction for more consistent contact while a higher MOI provides more area across the face for supreme forgiveness.

    Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

    Features

    • Progressive Construction: Hollow body long irons and undercut cavity mid/short irons give the best launch and forgiveness/control for each iron
    • Thin, unsupported face delivers maximum ball speed across the face
    • Uses strategically placed, high-density tungsten weight to lower CG for high launch and MOI
    • Leading edge design improves turf interaction for consistent contact

    Technology / Specs

Titleist 718 AP1 irons are the most forgiving club in the AP line. The following features combine to give these clubs their performance.

    Progressive Iron Construction

There are 2 types of club head construction of the 718 AP1 irons. The two longest irons have a hollow body, delivering higher launch and more forgiveness. The rest of the set has an undercut cavity, producing more controlled flight to help get shots closer to the hole. By making the clubs this way, users get the most carry distance out of each club.

    Thin Face Insert

These AP1 irons have a new thin face insert that's unsupported. By not being supported, the face flexes more to give more ball speed and distance to all shots.

    High MOI Design

An average of 58.5 grams of high-density tungsten weight is located near the toe of the club. The weight increases the MOI of the club, creating a tighter dispersion. It also lowers the CG so shots fly high and land quickly.

In addition to these features, the Titleist 718 AP1 irons have a pre-worn leading edge that improves turf interaction, generating more consistent contact.
