    Description

The TaylorMade M4 fairway wood has a new 5-layer carbon crown that creates a lower CG and drives higher launch while reducing spin. The ultra-strong Ni-Co 300 steel face insert allows for a thinner, faster face for optimized ball speed while the Fluted Hosel provides superior sound and feel without compromising the CG location. Geocoustic technology boasts a large footprint and low-profile shape making it easy to launch and play.

    Technology / Specs

These features of the TaylorMade M4 fairway wood help you "get there from anywhere."

Speed Pocket and Inverted Cone Technology

The speed pocket on the sole of the TaylorMade M4 fairway wood flexes at impact to deliver greater ball speed and distance. In addition, TaylorMade added Inverted Cone Technology, common their irons, to make the sweet spot bigger.

    Geocoustic Technology

Geocoustic technology on the M4 fairway wood improves the club's sound and feel. The area on this version is bigger than previous iterations, creating more discretionary weight that is moved around the head to add forgiveness.

    Split Internal Weighting

Ball speed and forgiveness are also increased by Split Internal Weighting. Placing the weights on the outer portion of the clubhead increases the MOI (forgiveness) of the club.
