    Description

PING’s new Glide Forged Wedges are forged with carbon steel for an unprecedented light feel. The compact, tour-inspired shape enables tour-level shot-making control and versatility. The club’s face is machined with wheel-grooves for lower launch and higher spin for a more refined, stable impact. With a gooseneck-tapered hosel, you can play smoothly through grass and sand, while the Hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish allows for easy play in wet grass.

    Condition Description

Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: NOTE: Some wedges are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Normal ball marks on the face with minimal groove wear; minor scratching on the sole and in the cavities; no significant wear on the shaft.

    Technology / Specs

PING Glide Forged wedges offer high spin and the ability to hit a variety of shots thanks to the following features.

    Precision-Milled Grooves

PING Glide Forged wedges use patented, precision-milled, wheel-cut grooves to generate incredible spin. The manufacturing process sharpens the edge radiuses of the groove, causing more friction on the golf ball for spin and control.

    Soft Feel and Forgiveness

These wedges get their soft feel from making the head out of 8620 carbon steel. Besides the soft feel, 8620 carbon steel also helps with durability.

A tungsten weight in the toe helps with forgiveness by adding perimeter weight, increasing MOI.

    Head Shape and Sole Design

Designers took inspiration for the head design from input they got from Tour players as well as the PING Advisory staff. The head of the Glide Forged wedges is compact with a gooseneck-tapered hosel. The hosel helps the club slide through rough or sand with ease.

The sole has a rounded leading edge and more heel-toe camber (roundness of the sole). Hitting a variety of shots is simple thanks to this sole design.
