Technology / Specs
PING is known for only releasing products that have measurable improvements over previous models. The PING G410 SFT driver continues this trend, offering all-new features, improved fitting and forgiveness to help golfers that hit the dreaded "s" word. Read all about them here.
SFT Technology
PING brings back the SFT (Straight Flight Technology) model in the G410 line. The driver has a fixed heel-side weight, putting 50% more heel-side weight CG than the G400 SFT driver. Weight in the heel assists with a fade-side miss. The G410 SFT driver also has a lighter swing weight, which gives the club additional time to get square at impact.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0
Also new on the G410 SFT driver is an updated adjustable hosel. Tuning Trajectory 2.0 has 8 available positions, helping dial in the ideal ball flight. You can change the loft +/- 1.5 degrees in 0.5 degree increments. You can also adjust the lie angle flat to promote more fade spin.
Forged Face
A returning feature in the G410 SFT driver is the forged, T9S+ steel face. Creating the face takes a unique process that produces a thinner face that flexes more to increase ball speed. The face also contributes to the club’s sound and feel.
Internal Dragonfly Technology
Dragonfly Technology isn’t new for PING. What’s new on the G410 SFT driver is the location of the feature, inside the head. Previously the feature, which gives the crown stability and optimizes the CG location, was visible on the crown.
Turbulator Technology
Updated Turbulator Technology helps the G410 SFT driver fly through the air faster, increasing swing speed and distance. Turbulators, the ridges on the crown, are shaped more aggressively for better aerodynamics. Drag forces on the driver are reduced with the improved aerodynamics, increasing clubhead and ball speed.
